Renting a two-wheeler in Varkala costs from ₹276 a day with LocoRides, up to ₹408 for the larger machines. Helmet and doorstep delivery are included. Fuel is not. Every rate on this page is live from our booking system.
Current rates
We bill by the hour with a 12 hour minimum, so the hourly rate is the number that matters — the daily figure is simply 24 hours at that rate. Each vehicle also carries a kilometre allowance for each day of the rental and a per-kilometre charge once you go past it. The deposit is refundable and returned at drop-off.

What isn't included
- Fuel. You get the bike with enough to get going and return it at a similar level.
- Distance beyond the daily allowance, charged per kilometre at the rate in the table.
- Traffic fines incurred during your rental.
- Damage from an accident or misuse, assessed against the deposit and always shown to you first.
How much is the security deposit?
The deposit is ₹1000 on every vehicle in the fleet. It's refundable, collected at handover and returned when you drop the bike back in the condition you got it. Ordinary scuffs from normal riding don't come out of it. If we do find damage, we show you what we found before anything is deducted.
Can you rent by the hour instead of the day?
Yes. If you only need three hours to get to Kappil and back, you shouldn't have to pay for a day, so we run hourly rentals across the fleet. You can also extend an existing rental by a single hour from the app and pay only for that hour, without riding back to the shop to arrange it.
Are there any hidden charges?
No. The total at checkout includes the rental and any add-ons you picked, with taxes shown as a separate line before you pay. Nothing is added at handover, and nothing is added at drop-off unless there's damage we've walked you through. The four numbers that decide what a rental actually costs — daily rate, kilometres included, per-kilometre charge after that, and deposit — are all on this page for every vehicle we own.
Do prices change with the season?
Rates move with demand like everything else in Varkala, and December to February is the busy stretch. The table above is always the current price rather than a brochure figure, so what you read here is what you'll be quoted. Booking a day or two ahead in peak season also means you get the vehicle you picked instead of whatever's left.
