We bill by the hour with a 12 hour minimum, so the hourly rate is the number that matters — the daily figure is simply 24 hours at that rate. Each vehicle also carries a kilometre allowance for each day of the rental and a per-kilometre charge once you go past it. The deposit is refundable and returned after 3 days.

How much is the security deposit?
A ₹1,000 refundable security deposit is required for every booking. The deposit will be refunded within 3 days after the vehicle is returned, provided there are no vehicle damages, traffic violations, pending penalties, or other applicable deductions.
Can I rent by the hour instead of the day?
Yes, but the minimum booking duration is 12 hours. After the initial 12-hour booking, you can extend your rental on an hourly basis through the app, subject to the vehicle's availability. If you plan to extend, we recommend doing it as early as possible before your existing booking ends.
Are there any hidden charges?
No. LocoRides follows transparent pricing. Your rental price and applicable charges are clearly shown during the booking process. Charges such as late-return fees, penalties and other applicable amounts are also clearly mentioned in our Terms & Conditions.
In case of vehicle damage, the repair cost will be based on the actual assessment and charges provided by the authorized service centre/showroom. Apart from such damage-related costs, the applicable pricing and charges are communicated clearly in advance — no hidden charges.
Do prices change with the season?
Rates move with demand like everything else in Varkala, and December to February is the busy stretch. The table above is always the current price rather than a brochure figure, so what you read here is what you'll be quoted. Booking a day or two ahead in peak season also means you get the vehicle you picked instead of whatever's left.
