Renting the Cygnus Ray in Varkala
The Cygnus Ray rents for ₹23 an hour from LocoRides in Varkala, including a helmet and 144 km of riding per day. Beyond that allowance we charge ₹4 per kilometre. A refundable ₹1000 security deposit is collected at handover and returned when you drop the vehicle back in the same condition. Fuel is not included — you get it as you receive it and return it the same way.
It is a geared motorcycle, which suits riders who are already comfortable with a clutch. It's the better pick for longer coastal runs — Kappil Beach, Anjengo Fort, Ponnumthuruthu — where you spend time on the highway rather than the cliff road. We deliver anywhere on North Cliff and across Varkala; our shop is near Govt. Taluk Hospital at Hospital Junction, roughly 1 km from Varkala Railway Station, open 6:00 am to 8:30 pm daily.
